Root canal treatment
Saving a tooth whose nerve has become infected, usually in one or two visits.
When the nerve inside a tooth becomes infected, root canal treatment removes the infection and seals the space, allowing you to keep the tooth rather than lose it.
The procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic and is not the ordeal its reputation suggests. Most people find it no worse than a filling.
